2 months agoDim sum and buns here are big enough and yummy enough 🤩🤩 Dim sum skins are little bit thick but you won't even care about it when you taste the fillings at such a low price. Pork and shrimp dumpling was amazing, and steamed BBQ pork bun was impressive, not to mention sesame balls. You might think the staff is not that friendly and the kitchen looks messy, but come on... with their tasty dumplings and buns at such a low price, I dare not to expect fancy service from 5 star restaurant 😂😂

It’s a classic grab-and-go spot — no seating, usually a line out the door, and absolutely worth the wait. The highlight? Their freshly made egg custard tart for just $1.80. It’s an incredible deal for something so delicious. The crust is perfectly flaky and buttery, while the custard filling is silky smooth, lightly sweet, and still warm when you get it. You can taste that it’s made fresh throughout the day. Beyond the tarts, their steamed buns and dumplings are generous in size and flavor, making this one of the best value stops in San Francisco. Service is quick and efficient — this place runs like a well-oiled machine. If you’re exploring Chinatown and want authentic, affordable dim sum, Good Mong Kok Bakery delivers every time. 2 months agoBest chowmein and pork bun in Chinatown, service was ok the lady make me and the other lady wait, if I didn’t say anything she would have took longer to help her, I like the food the service has to improve and be more friendly to the customers

3 months agoThis was a great stop I will absolutely return to if I am in the area. Cheapest food around and it felt very fresh and authentic. I would recommend the deep fried beef dumplings, and not the sausage dumpling. (Its just a hotdog) Overall a great quick bite

4 months agoGood Mong Kok Bakery is highly recommended for dim sum, offering consistently tasty food at very reasonable prices. Note that they are takeout only and do not have indoor seating. You must try their Pork bun and Siu Mai.

4 months agoThe pastries were really tasty and prepared well. Don’t expect the ladies at the counter to speak english and to be friendly, they’re just doing their work. But everything is so cheap and worth a try!

5 months agoLoved it when I got it last year but this time around they're so aggressively mediocre. Shrimp dumplings are bland and skin is too thick and dry, pineapple pork bun is stale and bland and couldve been baked for longer, peanut and sesame mochi is too soft (no qq texture I wanted)

5 months agoWent there on a Sunday at around 10h. There was one, two people in front of me. The service was very fast, counter could speak Cantonese and Mandarin. Don't expect the waitress to make some talk to you. She just asks what you want and you pay :) The Charsiubao could be filled more, I got 85% dough and 15% filling. I really liked the Xiumai and the Dantat, really brought me back to my childhood :)
